February 15 – March 3: James Henry Trotter lives with two ghastly hags – his odious aunts – and he’s a very lonely little boy indeed. One day, something peculiar happens. At the end of the garden, a peach starts to grow and grow and grow.
February 28 – March 4: Join the annual Annual Spring Carnival with vendor booths, live music and carnival rides.
January 26 – April 28: This new family exhibit will get you revved up with immersive activities for three generations of Hot Wheels fans. There’s something for mom, dad, grandparents and of course today’s youngest Hot Wheels fans as visitors learn about the science, technology, engineering, and math that goes into making cars go faster.
February 28 – March 1: Returning for its eighth season, Nat Geo Live offers FOUR exciting programs with journeys into the worlds of mammals, the High Arctic, mountain climbing and sea creatures. This third program delves into mountain climbing.
Fridays: Kids (2+) make edible art using fruits and other foods donated by Trader Joe’s. Create a tasty masterpiece that looks and tastes good.
March 1: Discover what makes the International School of Orange County unique! You will be welcomed with a delicious French breakfast and have the opportunity to meet the staff and teachers; take a tour of the campus, and discuss the program with the campus director.
Select Fridays: The public is invited to get up close with the ocean’s ultimate predators at the Aquarium of the Pacific for free during Shark Lagoon Nights. Guests will have the opportunity to touch bamboo sharks and see large sharks such as sandtigers as well as rays.
Fridays: Kids (7+) join Fashion Camp every Friday for a fun sewing workshop.
Friday: LACMA staff reads folk tales and age-appropriate books on art and culture.
