School of Rock at Segerstrom Center for the Arts

July 24 – August 5: Based on the hit film, this musical follows Dewey Finn, a wannabe rock star posing as a substitute teacher who turns a class of hard working students in to hard rocking musicians.

Dino Summer at the Cube

May 26 – September 3: This summer enter a lost world of prehistoric creatures from land and sea.

Dolby Theatre Guided Tours

Daily: See an Oscar statuette, visit the Dolby Lounge and other celebrity hot-spots, and see images from previous Academy Awards ceremonies.

Concerts in the Park in Costa Mesa

Tuesdays, July 10-31: Bring blankets and a picnic dinner and enjoy some of the area’s best live bands.

Moonlight Movies in Long Beach

Tuesdays and/or Thursdays, June 19 – August 21: Watch family movies while lounging in the sand under the stars. Bring your blanket or lawn chairs and a picnic.

June 6 – July 25: A fun-filled afternoon of stories, crafts and activities for children entering first grade and up.

Kids to Kids in Yorba Linda

Tuesdays, June 19 – August 14: Join teen volunteers as they share stories, songs, puppets, and more with children of all ages.

Youth Art Workshops at Laguna Festival of Arts

Weekdays, July 5 – August 17: Bring out that creative spark at the Festival of Arts. Kids (5-12) can enjoy art classes taught by professional festival artists in mixed-media, jewelry making, collage and more.

Genghis Khan: The Exhibition at the Reagan Library

February 16 – August 19: Discover the man behind the legend. Now the most comprehensive exhibition of Genghis Khan and his treasures invades the Reagan Library, its only Southern California stop on an international tour.

Regal’s Summer Movie Express

Tuesdays and Wednesdays, June 19 – August 15: This 9-week festival offers G and PG-rated movies for only $1 starting at 10 a.m. Check with individual theaters for titles.
