June 22: Kick off the Summer in the pool! Adults and children of all swimming abilities can participate in the Super Swim Lesson, a worldwide effort to raise awareness for drowning prevention
Ongoing: Join the Halos for a behind-the-scenes tour of baseball’s fourth-oldest stadium, including areas normally restricted to the public.
June 21-24: The 4th Annual Angel City Games will feature four days of adaptive multi-sport competitions for kids, adults, veterans, and active-duty military personnel with physical disabilities.
Daily: Educational robotic and static dinosaur displays, plus dino-themed activities including inflatable obstacles, Ride-a-T-Rex, fossil panning, maze, and more!
May 26 – August 19: Voyage to Vietnam: Celebrating the Tet Festival showcases traditions, customs, and values exemplified by the annual celebration of Tet.
Thursday – Sunday: The Great Park’s tethered, 118-foot-high, helium-filled balloon allows passengers to soar 400 feet in the air for a birds eye view. The carousel reaches a speed of 4.5 mph.
Daily: A monthly calendar of family-friendly hikes, walks, tours and more at parks in the Orange County Parks system.
June 1 – August 15: Many libraries offer homework help, including academic workshops and story times. Plus, join the Summer Reading Program, June 1 – August 15. Young readers (kids and teens) at most Los Angeles County and Orange County libraries will enjoy a “Build a Better World” theme.
June 1 – August 31: Take a guided wagon ride around the farm, stop at different areas and try different summer fruits and vegetables, and finally step into the melon patch to sample delicious home grown melon.
