So Many Fun Things To Do For Kids & Families!

May 17-21: It’s musical, it’s memorable … it’s circus with a touch of Broadway! It’s family entertainment at its finest, and it’s coming your way.

May 17: The Aquarium of the Pacific will debut a new permanent exhibit, the June Keyes Penguin Habitat, home to the first penguins in the Aquarium’s collection.

May 18-20: Hummus and pita and ouzo, oh my! Spend the weekend like the Greeks. Feast on food, enjoy music, stroll through the plaka, shop in the many booths filled with imported artifacts and jewelry.

May 18: Kids (5-12) explore with flashlights on the Nature Center Trail, pig out on pizza, munch on popcorn, and watch a movie. Tonight’s theme is Surf’s Up.

May 18: Pre-teens and teens (11+) learn to be prepared for emergencies, accidents, busy babies, active toddlers and much more in this information packed babysitter training class

May 18: Visitors are invited to a free day at the museum to celebrate Art Museum Day. Festivites includ storystelling, tours, movies and music.

May 19-20: Thousands of rubber duckies will be launched into the ocean for this annual race, this year’s theme is Beachcomber Ducks.

May 19-20: During the annual festival, delicious strawberries are served every way imaginable! Live music, exhibits from more than 300 artisans, food vendors, strawberry delicacies and contests, plus Strawberryland For Kids.

May 19-20: Enjoy a two-day festival of train and trolley rides, special exhibits, music and good old-fashioned entertainment, including the Ventura County No. 2 steam engine, recently returned from a five-year restoration.
