Elvenstar Orange County

Kids (6+) learn to horseback ride in a safe and fun environment. Through the Elvenstar Riding Academy, designed for riders of all levels, lessons and specialty programs are designed to teach all aspects of horsemanship from riding skills to horse care.

First Field Farm

First Field Farm offers instruction in English horseback riding and jumping for beginning through advanced students. Beginner lessons include care of the horse as well as the basics of position and control.

Horse Fun (7-12). Classes held in Anaheim.

Rancho Rio Verde

Group and private English and Western riding instruction (5+) includes basic horsemanship, jumping and ring time. Leases are available.

Sandie Mercer Ranch at Lakewood Equestrian Center

Private and group instruction (6+) for Western, English and Jumping. Beginner through advanced lessons can be arranged to fit your schedule. Lessons are available six days a week on your horse or theirs.

Trail Rides

A list of local trail rides, some are in a country environemnt.

U.S. Pony Club

Program offers English riding instruction and competitions. Participants may lease a horse or use their own.
