Arts and Crafts

Whether or not your little one seems artistically inclined, it’s easy to find fun, low-pressure classes, camps and workshops where she can give new skills a try and develop art appreciation.

All sorts of arts and crafts “count,” from sewing and cartooning, to ceramics, sculpting, painting, drawing, even creative engineering and digital art. Check the offerings at private studios, craft supply and home improvement stores, your parks and recreation department, the neighborhood library, community festivals or Southland museums, which often offer family art programs.
