Deep Blue Swim School offers free infant classes (3-5 months), private lessons, parent and me swim classes, pre-competitive swim team, snorkeling clinics, and scuba for kids year round in their 92 degree indoor and ozone-filtrated pools.
Currently looking for talented kids (6+), from learn-to-dive beginners, to high school divers, to elite national competitors.
Open Swim and Lap Swim, June 12 – July 28, Monday – Friday. Kids ages 9 and under as well as non-swimmers under four-foot, six-inches tall, must be accompanied by an adult.
Group and private swim lessons are offered June – August at Golden West College’s Aquatic Facility. Class offerings include: Parent and Me, Preschool (ages 3-5), Level 1-5 (ages 6+) and Water Polo.
Both competitive and non-competitive programs, serving all communities, for kids as young as 2, and youth in a variety of age divisions, as well as adults/masters. Kids get used to the water, strengthen their swimming skills, and are taught the basic fundamentals of water polo in a fun, safe setting.

Rocket Fish Swimming practices at the new Belmont Plaza Pool in Long Beach. Rocket Fish is a high-quality swim experience with an emphasis on two main goals: 1) character development and 2) stroke development for swimmers ages 5-14.
Specializing in children’s swimming lessons since 1965. Their goal is to have children enjoy their swimming experience. They use a gentle approach considering the emotional, psychological and physical well being of the children.
Southern California Swimming (SCS) oversees city and community club teams. Swimmers (4+) are grouped according to age and ability for year-round, weekday workouts and weekend competitions.

Take your kids’ swimming to the next level! Newbies can now join United Waterpolo Club (UPWC). Since it was founded in 2007, UWPC has garnered eight national championships. Dedicated to teaching and promoting water polo to youth throughout Southern California, the non-profit club offers competitive programs for boys and girls (5-14).
