Adventure through 1,200 protected acres of desert environments representing North America and Africa. Encounter over 500 wild animals, live shows, the children’s discovery center, an animal carousel and lots more.
Covering 133 acres, the Los Angeles Zoo is home to more than 1,100 animals from around the world. Picnicking is permitted. Spring and summer camps, family overnights and special events also offered.

Amy’s Farms, Lakewood Pony Adventure, Centennial Farm and Zoomars Petting Zoo offer the opportunity for children to interact with farm animals. Some offer pony rides and special events too.
The San Diego Zoo is home to more than 3,700 rare and endangered animals representing approximately 660 species and subspecies and a prominent botanical collection with more than 700,000 plants.
Like a safari, guests can see herds of African animals—rhino, giraffe, antelope and gazelle—roaming the hills of the San Pasqual Valley. Camp and sleepover programs offered. Open daily.
