Women’s charitable organization focusing on the welfare of children in Long Beach and the surrounding communities. The JLLB is committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable through projects such as children’s health education, children’s literacy, and advocacy for children’s issues. Informational meetings are held in the late summer and early winter for women interested in membership.
