Explore the fascinating history of trains and trolleys in Southern California at this 80-acre site, established in 1956. Two-hundred rail vehicles on-site, from very early Los Angeles streetcars to modern diesel-electric locomotives. Their demonstration railway runs every weekend, providing visitors with rides on historic trains and trolleys, including steam engines. A unique site for birthday parties, school charters or special events. Special events are held throughout the year, including the Pumpkin Train (October), Thomas the Tank Engine rides (November) and Santa’s Christmas Train (December). Access to museum grounds is free except during special events. All-day ride pass on regular weekends: adults, $12; kids (5-11), $8; and children 4 and under, free.
