The Pegasus School is an independent, non-denominational school for bright and gifted children in preschool through grade eight. Established in 1984, Pegasus has delivered on founder Dr. Laura Hathaway’s promise of giving bright and gifted students a place to flourish, an educational environment that values intelligence, creativity and respect for others-indeed where it is “safe to be smart.” Pegasus provides a rigorous academic program while it also develops and cultivates the joy of life-long learning in a nurturing environment. After-school enrichment classes and a.m./p.m. extended care are also available. The Pegasus School is accredited by California Association of Independent Schools (CAIS) and is a Proud Member of National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS).
