Music Together® is a squeal of delight, a grateful parent, a toddling drummer, an infant “coo.” Research-based and beautifully developed, this national program is based on the premise that all children are musical, and parents and other primary care-givers play a crucial role in activating and nurturing their child’s music development. Weekly parent-child classes offer 45 minutes of engaging and fun music-making experiences that allow children to develop tonal and rhythm competence with ease. Activities include songs, rhythmic rhymes, movement and instrument play. Classes are informal and non-performance oriented. They are developmentally appropriate for children newborn through age 4, and easy for adults, regardless of musical ability.
