Sorrowful Soirée at the Homestead Museum

October 28: Celebrate life as you learn about death at the Homestead’s very first Sorrowful Soire. People’s relationship with death changed dramatically between the time that the Workman and Temple families lived at the Homestead. Come and learn more as you enjoy special tours and activities. Also, celebrate some favorite seasonal traditions of the modern day that have rich histories of their own like trick-or-treating and making costumes. Picnics are welcome. Sunday, noon – 4 p.m. Free.
