2019 Spring Break Camps

Keep the kids busy while they’re out of school! From swimming with mermaid tails to cooking a meal… there’s a Spring Break Camp for everyone!



Alpert Jewish Community Center, Long Beach
April 19, 22-26

Campers (K-7th grade) will enjoy cooking, sports, arts, swimming, trips and more. Leadership opportunities for 8th-9th graders.


Arts & Learning Conservatory, Costa Mesa
April 1-5, Royal Adventure Camp
April 8-12, Super Hero Camps
April 15-19, Space Adventure Camp

These camps are perfect for children (ages 5-12)  interested in exploring theater, dance, voice and art. The best part of it all is that no experience is necessary. Camp will culminate in a mini-performance and celebration for family and friends!


Camp Costa Mesa, Costa Mesa
April 8-12

Campers (K-6th grade) will be able to reconnect as well as make new friends as they participate on four excursions, sports, games, songs and skits, educational options, and arts & crafts each week.


Camp Fire, Long Beach
April 22-26

Treat your child (K-8th grade) to an activity-filled week that has something for everyone. Camp activities include archery, rock climbing, campfire cookout, nature education, sports and more.


Irvine Recreation
March 25 – April 12

Camps offered include art, junior tennis, sports, tweens and teens, iCamps, culinary, LEGO and more.


Kidspace Children’s Museum, Pasadena
March 18-22 and April 15-19

Bugs, bugs everywhere! Take an up close look at some of the crazy, cool creatures we share our world with. Explore the arthropod family, find similarities and differences in insect and arachnids, go on a hunt for a local isopod and discover some amazing facts about gastropods.


LA County Arboretum & Botanic Garden, Arcadia
March 18-22 and April 1-5

Nature, exploration, imagination, and fun are just a few things you’ll find at their Spring Nature Camp for kids (ages 5-11).


LA Zoo, Los Angeles
March 18-22 and April 15-19

Children (PreK – 4th grade) will have a cool time engaging in fun activities and going ape over the zoo’s amazing animals


Lil’ Chef School, Irvine
April 1-5

Lil’ Chefs (ages 5+) will make sweet and savory baked dishes each day with a different theme. From April Fool’s Day (not everything is what it seems), to breakfast, to Italian and Latin Cuisines, and our favorite spring recipes.


My Gym Children’s Fitness Center, Long Beach
April 23-26

Energizing games, exciting gymnastics, cool arts and crafts, and music that guarantees to keep kids (ages 3-13) moving and engaged.


Newport Aquatic Center, Newport Beach
April 8 & 10, Spring Break Jr. Learn to Row Camp

Kids (ages 12-18) learn the basics of rowing. This two-day camp for students is a great introduction to the sport for those interested in joining NAC’s rowing team and those that want to try a fun sport. Participants will be taught boat safety and handling, introductory stroke technique and the importance of rowing as a team.

April 1-5, Sailing Adventure Camp

Sailing skill building and wacky camp competitions await! The all-day adventures emphasize small boat sailing, but also offer big boat/keelboat sailing and paddle sport opportunities

Storymakery’s unique kids’ self-publishing camps are designed to boost your child’s love for creative writing. Over the course of the week, students will develop their own storybooks from start to finish, ending with three soft-cover paperback books and character posters.
