Outdoor Ice Rinks

Through January 6: Skate outdoors (and even under the stars!) at the festive Holiday Ice Rink in the Giant Wheel Court at Irvine Spectrum Center. Daily, starting at 3 p.m., skate sessions are 90-minutes long. Adults and kids with skate rental, $20; without skate rental, $18; toddlers, $16 (double-blade skates are included). Helmets are optional but recommended and provided for $5. Season passes $199 (includes skate rental). Find open session times and single sessions schedule on their website.

Through January 21: Santa Monica brings a little ice to the beachside community. Monday – Thursday, 2-10 p.m.; Friday, 2 p.m. – midnight; Saturday, 10 a.m. – midnight; and Sunday, 10 a.m.- 10 p.m. $15, includes skate rental. The ice rink will operate if it rains, but will close should conditions become dangerous to skaters or staff. All ticket sales are final and there are no refunds on purchased tickets due to rain or other weather-related circumstances or said conditions’ impact on the skating surface or overall experience.

Through January 21: Join a winter wonderland at Pershing Square with a host of free community and special events. Daily, skating sessions vary, visit their website for times. December 13 – January 6: Downtown Burbank’s most festive holiday tradition will return for outdoor ice skating, fundraising events, and special performances at The Rink in Downtown Burbank. Steps away from hundreds of shops and restaurants decked out for the holiday season. Hours of operation will be 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, extended to 11:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday nights.

You’ll find a state-of-the-art ice rink, comfortable rental skates, the always popular Bobby skating aid and its own radio station playing the best ice skating music in Temecula. Emerald Events has added something very exciting to their inventory – now you can ice skate year round! If you’re looking for a unique experience for your corporate, church, school event or home party, try their synthetic mobile ice rink. If you are new to skating, The Rinks offer a variety of Learn-to-Skate classes. For kids looking to try hockey, check out the Anaheim Ducks Learn-to-Play Program, which is free to new participants, or the Little Ducks Hockey Program, a developmental hockey program that provides participants with a free set of hockey equipment, as well as on-ice instruction.
